In the 1976 classic Rocky, Sylvester Stallone stars as the "Italian Stallion" Rocky Balboa, who was a struggling boxer who worked as a debt collector in Philadelphia. When heavyweight champion Apollo Creed visited Philadelphia, and his original fight was cancelled, Creed wanted to set up an exhibition match for a nobody to become a somebody.
